Michael A. Carrier is a lifelong resident of New Britain and a dedicated partner at Weber, Carrier, Boiczyk & Chace, LLP. His areas of practice include real estate, mortgage financing, zoning, commercial law, and probate law. A graduate of the University of New Haven, where he earned his degree summa cum laude in 1982, Attorney Carrier continued his education at the Western New England School of Law, earning his law degree in 1986. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the United States District Court in the same year. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the Judge of Probate for the Berlin district.

Attorney Carrier is deeply involved in his community, having served in leadership roles on numerous boards and commissions. His contributions include roles with the New Britain Board of Fire Commissioners, New Britain Board of Education, Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way of New Britain & Berlin, among others. Currently, he serves as New Britain’s Special Representative to the Metropolitan District Commission Regional Water and Sewer Authority, as a Corporator for both the Hospital of Central Connecticut and the Hospital for Special Care, and as a Trustee for St. Francis of Assisi Church in New Britain.
